Unity, XR and practical software
I am Sagor Ahamed, a Unity and XR developer based in Greater Manchester. My work spans games, immersive learning, CAVE systems and Meta Quest, supported by an earlier background in mobile and backend development.
I began in Android application and backend development. That foundation taught me to think beyond a single screen and consider data, reliability and the people who need to use the finished product.
I later moved into games and extended reality through my MSc at the University of Salford. Since then, I have developed Unity experiences for immersive environments, supported an XR lab and worked directly with staff and learners in UK education.
The common thread is simple: I enjoy turning a technical idea into something clear, usable and dependable.
Focused game and XR development, with enough wider software experience to understand the complete build.
Unity, C#, input, scoring, structured content and multiplayer flows.
Igloo CAVE presentation, Meta Quest, live setup and technical support.
Flutter, backend development, databases, browser controllers and documentation.
A career moving from application development into games, immersive technology and digital innovation.
